Turkish Political Economy Society (TPES)

I am a founding member of TPES and I currently sit on its Steering Committee. Generally designed as a forum of exchanging ideas, facilitating communication and collaboration among scholars and institutions in the field of political economy, TPES has been highly active since it was established in 2013.

TPES provides a common platform of discussion, cooperation and networking for scholars and researchers who work on a broad range of topics in the fields of comparative and international political economy as well as comparative public policy. It aims to foster fruitful communication and exchange of ideas across disciplines of political science, sociology, public policy, international relations and economics. So far, we have organized a broad range of activities including conferences, workshops and seminars which brought together junior and senior faculty, graduate students and researchers. These activities have helped stimulate critical thinking, collaborative research and networking between interested scholars and researchers.
